Sysprep sp2 & sp1 machines

Hello.

I have learned (the hard way!) that sysprep sp2 works with sp2 machines only
if they've been installed with a slipstreamed CD. What I'd like to know is
how it interacts with machines still on sp1? In particular, is there any
reason to believe that ghost will not be able to either image or clone such a
machine?

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

Hello George,
You should be able to use the version of Syprep that ships with XPSP2 with
an installation of Windows XP that has XPSP1 installed on it.
Thanks,

?? I've had no problems using Sysprep from XPsp2 with our non-slipstreamed
images here. What happens?

Hello,
I stated that running sysprep from XPSP2 should work with an install of
Windows XP with SP1 installed on it, which was the question that was asked.
I am not aware of any problems, it should work fine.
Thanks,
