sysprep keeps SID

Hi, I used Sysprep to deploy a lot of Win2K machines, but
now I try to deploy WinXP Pro and have the a problem with
these settings:
- use Mini-Installation
- Reseal the Computer

I want Windows to generate new SID´s, but it doesn´t !!!
I get the message, that the administrator password can´t
be changed and this computer is known in my domain with an
other name !?!?!? WHY ???

Has anybody any idea ?

I believe there is a slight difference between XP and 2k's sysprep (been so
long I don't remember). OP may get a better response in the Win2k
newsgroup.

There is an option for NOT GENERATING a new SID. I tried
this option set and unset. It doesn´t matter.

Been awhile so forgive any stupid advice. did you first create a new answer
file using the setupmgr.exe (not the setup.exe) in the sysprep folder? I
think this is where the admin password issues come into play. I had
previously used the unattended setup when playing with this and never had
password issues.I did this for cloning so it may not work as well as a
rollout.
