Sysprep ignores VL key

I have a sysprep image of XP Pro SP2 but whenever mini-setuup runs it always
asks me for my Product key everything else works fine, just the VL key.
The key is properly entered into the answer file (I do a similar thing on a
Server syspreped image and it works fine). No matter what I do XP always
asks for the Key in mini-setup. Any ideas?

We have experienced the same problem. Initially, it was working properly
and at some point throughout updating our images, the VL product key was no
longer being accepted via sysprep.inf

We changed the line to enclose the VL Product Key in quotes and it appeared
to fix the problem. We are awaiting an answer on another post to determine
if there is a proper syntax to the Product ID line in the sysprep.inf
