Sysprep and keys

Newbie to Sysprep here. We ran sysprep on a machine and rebooted directly to
Ghost and created our image. When booting up a new computer now, the
mini-setup doesn't accept our OEM license key that is on the sticker of the
box. We don't have a volume license key for Windows XP. Does the sysprep
not accept a license key that is on the outside box sticker? If it is
supposed to, is there a number to call Microsoft?

Which version of Windows XP are the Product Keys for that are
affixed to the computer and which Windows XP CD did you use?
