Sysprep & Ghost questions

Hi,
I am trying to create XP image then deploy by using ghost. Sysprep is very
different between Windows 2000 and XP. For example, my company purchased
bunch of Dell machines comed with XP OEM license. Can I build XP images
with OEM license? I built XP OEM image and later deployed it somehow it
keeps asking me to enter product number. I did not recall that when I
deployed windows 2000. I am still consider a newbie with XP sysprep.
What sysprep options should I use to eliminate product number prompt? What
sysprep options should I use to create Ghost image for mass deploy? Any
information or tips will be appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Johnny Chow

What you need to do is contact Dell and ask them to trade-in
your OEM licenses for VL licenses. Otherwise, you'll have to
enter each OEM Product Key manually and then activate
Windows XP at each workstation.
