sysprep - cmdlines.txt and Windows Updates

Greetings al

I am using Sysprep along with imaging to deploy Windows XP onto our Labs workstations. I have a couple of things running from cmdlines.txt to further customize the OS. I also have windows group policy set to download and install Windows updates

Is there a way from within cmdlines.txt to force the newly built workstation to download and apply windows updates during the sysprep process? I know how to apply patches on a shared volume using qchain, but would like the computers to just query Windows update for critical patches

thank yo

There's a bit of a hack to make the AutoUpdate client check with your SUS
server or the Windows Update server, but I haven't had much luck with it.

The hack can be found here:
http://www.susserver.com/Tools/Tools-AU-ForceCheckToSUS.asp

The next version of SUS (now called Windows Update Services) promises to be
much more robust.
