I work on a network that has just installed Active
Directory. I've just started using Sysprep on mirrored
hard disks and I've followed the directions as per the
Microsoft site. The first time that I used Sysprep, on the
drive that I wanted to mirror, it asked me for a valid
license key. I used the one on the side of the machine,
but now it wants me to activate it. And it wants me to
activate each subsequent machine. We have a valid site
license, so I shouldn't have to activate or validate any
copy of XP. Any ideas as to what I can or should do?
Thanks,
ergeordie

You need to make your Sysprep image using the VL CD
and the VL Product Key.

If you are using Volume Licensing, you should use the key that came with
that instead of the one on the PC.
