syslaunch

[c.s.]

for the last 5 days i have been having strange things
happening with the p.c. i discovered a syslaunch.exe
file in program files, that was installed 5 days ago. it
will not allow me to delete it. i can't restore the
system to a date previous to it's installation. what is
this syslaunch? mcaffee is apparently running and up to
date so i hope i have'nt got a virus. should i get rid
of this file and how?

See the link below for excellent tips on how to deal with infections. I would try
Norton instead on MCaffee in the future and take further steps to protect my system
including a firewall, scanning all emails, and keeping critical updates at Windows
Update current. --- Steve
