OS: XP Home

When I click on the Inernet icon. The hour glass appears
for about one second then goes away. And that's it. When
I try to rebout, I get this sysfader not responding, end
now.

I think the os goes into a loop, because I have to do a
hard rebout to get going again.

Does anybody a have a clue on this sysfader and how to fix
it?

Alan

Alan,

This problem might be from a trojan (VBS_Winshow.A)

I would suggest downloading Spybot S&D and running a complete scan of your
system. Also make sure that you have updated antivirus definitions and run
a complete scan there too.

See if those fix your problem and if not, post back and we'll see what we
can do from there. You may have to have someone burn Spybot to a CD for
you.

a few direct mirror links to try:
