Sysedit

Rudi de Beer

A few virusses were detected on my system
including "Trojan Horse". These virusses were removed, but
it somehow damaged my system so that I am unable to
execute some "one-file" applications like sysedit and
install files, etc. If I try to open these applications,
the computer "thinks" for a split second and then does
nothing. No processes even runs when I do this. What can I
do to resolve this?

If a repair install is unsuccessful, then you'll need to backup
your important data and proceed with a clean install.
