This "syscpy" keeps trying to access the internet and I
have my Zone Alarm blocking it since I cannot verify the
Company of it. It is stored in C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch and
what about removing it, will it hurt my OS. On mine it
is SYSCPY.EXE-0C6E4A98.pf (Unknown application) Any and
all help will be Greatly Appreciated.:-)

Thank You
Mark

You can safely delete anything and everything in Prefetch
folder (C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch). It is as the name implies
it allows a little (very little) faster access to where
you have been when you return.

The biggest benefit of "Prefetching" comes at boot time.
Depending on the fragmentation level of your drive, you
may or may not benefit from Application prefetching. This
is why Prefetch can be configured in three different ways.
The Prefetch folder is self-maintaining, and contrary to a
number of tweak sites does not need to be purged out.
Essentially, Prefetch learns what drivers and modules are
used frequently and ensures the files are contiguous on the
disk and placed where Windows can readily access them.
