Syncronizing computers?

I discovered that software like beinsync can syncronize files between 2
computers via the internet. The basic free version will only do a limited
amount of transfers which is ok for me. So i'm trying it out at this time.

But microsofts sync toy seems to syncronize files as well. . I have no
problems connecting my laptop and pc via wireless or ethernet cable and
manually transferring files between them that i want. But can the sync toy
help me with this?

I've done some research on it, but can't seem to figure out if ms sync toy
only syncs folders on a single computer or can sync them between computers?
I think that a shared folder from network places can be used as one of the
paired folders. But there are no details or instructions about the syncing
between 2 computers with the sync toy....

Any tips....

Have have searched a long time to find out a tools performing sync with
various selection options. I ve stop searching when I discovered the
functionalities of ROBOCOPY.exe-- have a look. tts a super XCOPY (dos
phasing), you can put in a *.bat file and let schedule it via windows
task manager. Really powerfull.
