hi

i have 2 Xp pro Pc's
one is a laptop and the other is a desktop. Not on a client server network,
rather a peer to peer.
is there anyway that i can synchronize the files on the PC's with each
other?

Define what you mean by synchronized...

You can simply make a share on one of the computer's and have the other
system map that as a network drive.

not in the network drive sense.
rather working like offline files, but in a peer to peer environment.
so that both my documents folders (for instance) would be updates with
regard to file changes, additions etc.

Hrm... I'm not aware of any Microsoft software that would do that, however
there are several third party software packages.
