Syncing music to my photo slide show

Hi and thank you,
I am very new to this and only want to know how to sync my music to the
photos...for instance, if the beat is da, da, da...I want 3 photos to follow
those 3 beats.
Also, is there a way to show , for instance, 1 photo ...hold that one , and
then have 2 more pop up on the screen and hold all?

It all needs to be done manually, so adjust the length of the photo yourslef
to fit the beat.
Having other photos on at the same time needs customised adjustments, see
the home page of this site for effects like Rehans to do this.
Just for info, MM is a video editor, so is best used with video, rather than
slideshows. It also works best with bitmap pictures and wav audio, rather
than jpeg and mp3!!
