Synchronizing

I have always synchronized my handheld with my desktop, both in Outlook 2002.
Now I would also like to synchronize with my laptop.

When I originally set up contacts, etc. on my laptop, I copied the
outlook.pst file to the laptop. Now, when I attempt to synchronize,
activesync shows that 934 contact files need synchronizing, between my hand
held and the laptop. I am concerned that if I proceed with the
synchronization I will get a huge amount of duplicates. How do you suggest
that I proceed? I should point out that I continue to successfully sync
between the handheld and the desktop.

Thank you for your help.

Start with a clean PST as the delivery location on your laptop and create a
new partnership with the PDA. You'll be asked if you want to synchronize
with more than one PC. Say "yes". When the partnership is created, the
synch will commence, and all of the Outlook data on the PDA will be
transferred to the laptop.

Thanks Brian, but how would I set up a "clean PST"?

In Outlook, click File>New>Outlook Data File, create the PST, and make it
your delivery location at the bottom left of Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next
