synchronizing time and files over network

Using XP Home in a home network with a laptop running W95.

Is there a way to synchronize
1. time between the two (XP being the main one)
2. files within certain folders of the two PCs?

Don't remember whether this works on Win95, but check out the net time
command on XP.

For syncing - check out www.centered.com for a very nice program,
inexpensive, that will do this easily. Briefcase is clumsy, offline files
fail too often.
