Synchronize multiple Pocket PC's to a single Outlook Calendar

Hi, I'm trying to set up a way to synchronize multiple Pocket PC's
(about 3-4) to a single Outlook Calendar. In Outlook 2003, the people
all keep their appointments in a single shared-up Calendar (which
belongs to one of them), and I am trying to get that one Calendar to
synchronize to all of the Pocket PC's. They all need the ability to
add/modify appointments on the road, then come back and sync them to
the single Calendar.

What is the best way to do this? I've seen some software for $70 or so
per per Pocket PC that can do this, and also has tons of other features
that they wouldn't need. I'm trying to keep the cost, and complexity,
down. They are all running Outlook 2003, and Dell Axim X30's, with
Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

I found a program called Pocket Lookout that might work, but I don't
know if it would handle multiple users altering a single calendar. The
computers are on a LAN with an Exchange Server. Could I set up each
Pocket PC to synchronize the Calendar via the Exchange Server (rather
than the local Outlook), and use the same Exchange username and
password on each device? Would that accomplish the same thing, without
causing problems? I'm trying to keep this simple. Thank you for any
help, it's really appreciated!!

each user would need their own outlook profile -but once that is done, it
should work ok. If they share one computer, separate windows logons will
reduce problems too.

Hi,
You really can't accomplish what you want with the shared calendar. This is
because ActiveSync supports only synchronizing the default calendar. Also,
the Pocket PC only supports one calendar.

A workaround would be to use Pocket on Schedule from www.odysseyinc.com.

Also, if you use separate profiles with XP and ActiveSync 3.x, the settings
for all users are shared. This causes problems when a Pocket PC is plugged
in the cradle and the wrong user logs into the PC. The system will attempt
to sync with the default Outlook profile and co-mingle the data.

ActiveSync 4.0 which is a pre-release right now supports separate profiles.
