Synchronization error occured: Parameter is not correct

Our Windows Server 2003 had a DNS disaster. After repairing DNS, some
computers that attempt to syncronize with a file server in the same LAN fail
with the following message: "Unable to merge offline changes on
[server\folder]. The parameter is incorrect." It does not affect every
computer synchronizing, all computers are Windows XP SP3, the file server is
Windows 2003 R2.
