Synchronise documents: Laptop and network drive

I have W2K on my laptop and use Briefcase to synchronise
my documents with the Netware network drive. Is the most
effective method or is there a better way?

Hi Paul-

That is the most effective other than using Offline Folders which has to be
enabled on the server side as well.

I have a personal aversion to both briefcase and offline files, as I have
seen far too many problems - unsync'd files, etc., as well as orphaned
cached copies on the local machine if the source path or name changes in any
way. I use a third party app called SecondCopy 2000 - www.centered.com -
works like a champ. It's cheap ($29) and they have a free 30-day eval (fully
functional).

Note - I have no affliliation w/the company other than liking their product.
