Synch Issue - Profile

Every time I synch my smartphone (running Mobile 6.0) with BCM it pops up
with a screen that asks me to "Choose Profile." "Outlook" appears to be the
default and, indeed, there *are* no other profiles. There is a drop down box
titled "Options" and it gives me a check box titled "Set as default profile."
I check the box. And yet, every time I synch the message pops up again!
And when I choose "Options" the box is unchecked and I must check it again.
I have looked in Outlook and BCM to see if there is someplace else I can
correct this setting. I have also looked at the synching program and the
phone. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check it the option "always use this profile" in control panel > mail > show
profiles is enabled

Also ensure that the drop down below that has your current profile selected
