Sync ing mail with mobile device

How do I sync with my mobile device (Windows mobile device 5.0) to receive
mail, sync contacts, tasks, calendar etc. I have down loaded Windows Mobile
Device Centre but it won't allow me to check anything related to mail.

WM5 only syncs with MS Outlook, part of the MS Office Suite.
