Synaptics Touchpad Problem

Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude C610 with Windows XP Professional. The Synaptics
Touchpad pointing device has a useful "scroll" feature -- if you stroke your
finger up or down the right side of the touchpad, the window scrolls. But
sometimes this feature cuts out inexplicably. Sometimes it works again if
you simply minimize and restore the window you're working on; other times you
have to reboot. Is there a recent driver that fixes this? Help appreciated.
