I have a Dell I8100 laptop with XP Home. I downloaded a
driver update for the Synaptics system (touchpad)and I
think I may have made a mistake and it didn't install.
Where can I look to see the Update number (it's supposed
to be A09)?

.
Dell.COM WEBSITE,COPY THIS URL ADDRESS TO YOUR INTERNET
BROWSER. This is the file Tp2aa09i.exe you need to
download.

http://support.dell.com/FileLib/Format.aspx?
c=us&l=en&s=gen&Category=17&OS=WW1&OSL=EN&SvcTag=&SysID=IN
S_PNT_P3CT_8100&DeviceID=283&Type=&ReleaseID=R58470

If this does not work go to the device manager select the
input device click on the synaptic touchpad driver and
select roll back driver to pervious driver. This should
work for your computer.
