Symbols replace letters

When replying to emails from a certain person, her name in her signature
changes to Banner font, which replaces the letters with symbols. It only
happens to her name; nothing else in the signature changes, and it only
happens when I hit "reply" or "forward". If I open the email to read it, the
signature is fine. We are on a network server using Outlook 2003, XP. Thank
you in advance for any assistance.
 
So I found out the sender set up her signature with the Banner font as the
font for her name. I don't have Banner on my computer. When I hit "reply"
does the email change as if it's coming from me and because I don't have that
font installed, it changes the appearance?
