Symantec Realtime Protection Issue

Hello all,

I've been having a weird issue with Symantec. In the system tray, I
right-click the Symantec shield and select "Enable Realtime Protection".
The red circle over the shield will disappear, but then reappear after a few
seconds (basically showing that realtime protection is disabled).

Has anyone run across this and can you give me some advice?

Make sure your computer is 100% malware-free and that your Symantec
product is a current version with an active subscription. Here is a

Yes, on a Windows XP system using NAV 2003. What OS and version of NAV
are you running?
