Greetings All,

I am looking for a program to make an exact copy of my hard drive for backup
and system restore purposes. I have heard and read that Norton Ghost is the
best program available for this task. Is this true?
I am somewhat hesitant to buy this program because of the horrible
experience I had with their antivirus program. I currently use Mcafee for my
AV and firewall needs and I am concerned about compatibility issues.
Can anyone shed some light on this question for me?
TIA...........Mark N.

You'll need a good third-party imaging program.

Don't be scared just because of one unpleasant incident, norton ghost is a
good utility for backup or you can try using the backup feature in xp pro if
you're using pro edition.

Ghost was a very good program before it was acquired by Symantec and
they have not yet managed to mess it up to any significant extent.

If you are looking for another option go to www.bootitng.com and look
over their products. They are very good and totally reliable.

Good luck

Ghost 9.0 is a modified version of DriveImage 7.0's code and GUI. You
should not have a problem with it.

Read all you can on restoration, hardware as appropriate to your case for
this on whatever software program you select. If you don't, it may bite
you.at time of restoration.
