Switching time zones messes up my "All Day Event" appointments.

I just moved from Central Time zone to Pacific. (There's a two hour
difference.) The anniversary and birthday appointments are on the calendar
as "All Day Events". After clicking the Recurring button, you see that "1
Day" was selected from the drop down. This automatically puts the time as
"12am to 12am".

When I went to Tool | Options... to change time zone, it also changes all
birthdays and anniversaries from 10pm to 10pm, making it stretch over two
days.

Is there a way to correct this as opposed to going through each and every
anniversary and birthday?

Sorry but I seem to have a small keyboard issue with a stuck Alt key - hence
the two semi-replies.

Try this:
- put your time zone back to Central
- export your Calendar to a CSV file using the File menu > Import & Export
command
- delete all the data in your Calendar
- change your time zone to Pacific
- import the data

Thanks for the suggestion. When I attempted to back it up to a CSV file
format, it reported that it didn't support any reoccurences and would make
each occurence a 1 time event. Yikes, is that really the only way?

FYI, most of these events were placed on the calendar when I edited the
Birthday and Anniversary fields in the Contacts folder.

Make a copy of the calendar for insurance. (r-click and drag the folder to
another folder) Delete the b-days, export the calendar. Get
http://www.rsoutlook.com/us/prods/prod05.html and it'll recreate them. Once
you are sure it's as it should be, delete the copy.

or... if you don't have a lot of items affected, move the recurring to a new
calendar, export the rest, fix the time and import and move the recurring
items back. As you have a few minutes here and there, fix the items
individually.

It seems I may have found another way... I accidentally discovered this
after looking at the web link you offered.

First I changed time zone to Pacific. Then, I switched to a "By Category"
view I created. I went to first annual appointment and opened it. I then
click on the first item. Then on the Recurrence button. It actually still
read, 12am to 12am. I clicked on OK, then the Down Item arrow. It asked if
I wanted to save changes, though I didn't really change anything. I clicked
on OK and switched my calendar view back to normal.

It fixed that appointment. So I just went down the list repeating those
steps. It took 15 minutes, but I didn't have to erase or move anything. Not
sure why that worked, or why Outlook doesn't have a built-in add-in for this.

Thanks for your help! If I hadn't of figured this way out, I would have
definately bought the add-in for $5.50.
