Travel extensively - US and International. Love the time zones feature
in OL2007 - planes do take off and land in different time zones. Had
hoped in 2007, however, that they would fix the annoyance of "All day
events" changing start and end times when changing times zones on the
PC. Have always left the laptop on Pacific Time because of this "bug."
Gave it a shot in DC yesterday and all these events suddenlty started
at 3AM and ended at 3AM the following day. A birthday or anniversary
doesn't suddenly cover a two-day period. My Blackberry and Treo 650
have it figured out.

Don't change the time zone of your PC. Instead, enable multiple timezones
in Outlook. In Outlook 2003, that's Tools>Options>Calendar Options>TIme
Zone>Show and additional time zone. I don't know where it is in OL 2007,
but it should be available.

I use this feature when I'm in my home zone and working with someone
from another zone. But if I'm off for an extended period - I like the
option of setting my PC to the zone that I happen to be in. It's
frustrating that it works so well with both my Blackberry and cell
phone. I move to a new zone, the time on each of these devices is
changed to the local time, all my appointments move the proper number
of hours and the all-day-events stay put. I don't believe we should
have to use "work arounds."
