Switching off Information Bar ???

C

Campbell Cromar

I am running a visual basic script which runs under
internet explorer. The application calls up windows media
player which calls a playlist containing several mpg
files.

I get the error below. How do I switch this off. I have
tried many combinations of options within internet
explorer, properties, security, internet, custom
properties (eg selecting low and enabling as many options
as possible - there are about 33 in total).

Please respond to my email address.

Kind Regards,
Campbell Cromar

In Windows XP SP2, when the active content is blocked

The Information Bar includes descriptive text that
explains why the action was taken and provides a context-

notification. The following table lists the text that
will appear in the Information Bar and the actions that

Campbell, please don't ask folks here to respond to your personal email
address as it is generally felt that the answer to your problem is something
that others might want to hear about. Also, this is not a personal
technical support area so expecting a "hand delivered" answer to your
personal problem is a bit much to expect here. Also, you really should not
post your real email address here as the spambots have most certainly picked
it up and added you to their list of spam email addresses.

Now, to your question...

If you add the site you are trying to work with to the trusted sites zone,
you should be ok.
