I purchased a new computer with Windows Vista and haven't been able to access
multiple identities from my email. I had almost given up and spent over an
hour on the phone with my I.S.P. today, trying to find a solution. A
technician just telephoned me back and said he had "figured it out"!
Hopefully this will be of some help to those of you out there with the same
problem -- it worked for me...
At the top of your mail window, beside the Send/Receive button, there is an
arrow to the right. Click the arrow and it will give a drop down menu. It
should show your default email server and an option to add another. The
technician from my I.S.P. walked me thru the steps for adding the required
incoming and outgoing information. When I want to receive mail from
individual identities, I simply click on the default, or the appropriate
designated email account, under the Send/Receive button.
My mail is working perfectly now and I am able to access all identities.
Hope this helps!
