Switching IDE to Raid Array

In Windows Server 2003 is it possible to switch from a single master on the primary IDE controller to a Raid 1 set on a raid controller. And, if so, what are the steps? E-mail me if you know how?

1) Do a complete CYA backup of your system.
2) Insert your Windows CD into the drive.
3) Choose 'Upgrade" when prompted.
4) At first reboot, interrupt the operation.
5) Use a DOS mode Imaging program to image your installation onto the RAID.
6) Set your BIOS to boot from the RAID.
7) Remove/disable your IDE boot disk.
8) Reboot your system.
9) Hit F6 when prompted.
10) Follow the on-screen instructions from this point forward.
