switching from Windows 98 to XP

Hi,
I just like to know what should I do before install the
home edition upgrade. Do I need new network card, video
card or anything else ??
I have Intel 450 MHz Pentium III processor 256 MB module,
nVidia 16MB AGP Graphics Accelerator, SMC 10/100 Twisted
Pair Adapter (I know this is old, but I don't want to
throw it away).

I see no objections. I have installed XP on much slower PCs than yours
(233MHz, 128 Meg RAM Laptop!) To be honest, it ran better with XP on it.
