them I already have office outlook 2003 installed. But can't figure out how
to switch to it and get all email and addresses from outlook express and
import to office outlook 2003. Do I just delete outlook express?

You don't have to delete Outlook Express. Just go into OUTLOOK. Click on
Tools, Options. Now click on the 'Other' Tab - now check the box to make
Outlook the default email program.

You cannot delete Outlook Express, if you want Outlook to work properly,
as Outlook uses some of Outlook Express' files.

Open Outlook Express and then open the File menu > Export and export
your messages from Outlook Express to Outlook. Then open Outlook and
import the addresses from Outlook Express. If you try to export the mail
messages from Outlook to Outlook Express, you will lose the dates on all
of your messages.

After all of this is complete, make Outlook your default mail client and
you'll be all set.
