switching from hot mail to microsoft

I need to change my old e-mail to my new one is there a way to merge my
hotmail account to my new microsoft account?

Do you work for Microsoft?

If not then you should not use a microsoft.com alias in the newsgroups.

Hotmail does not work in Windows Mail.

Did your ISP provide you with a mail account (email address)

You can set up Hotmail accounts in Windows Live Mail.

What "new microsoft account" are you talking about?
Mail programs don't come with mail accounts. You get the account
separately, from a mail provider or ISP.
