Switching Email

We have two email accounts set up in Outlook. They are both functioning as I
can see mail in both accounts when I access the email through the ISP site.
But, how do I switch between accounts in Outlook? The one I established
first seems to be the default inbox and works fine. I can see all the
postings about this same issue, but am not understanding the solution.

What part don't you understand?

When sending you can use the Accounts button to select which account you
will use to send the message.

My question must be more basic. I can't see the second inbox - how do I
switch to it? The email from the two accounts is not in the same inbox.
When using webmail through the ISP site, I have to log into each separately,
but on Outlook I would just like to be able to switch between inboxes and
accounts.
When sending, I don't see an option to choose an account.

When you configure multiple email accounts in outlook, there is only the
default folders containing a single Inbox etc
You would probably be advised to create account specific Folders for one of
the accounts, then create rules to deal with msgs appropriately as they are
sent/received i.e. 'move to folder'

Once multiple accounts have been set up when you have a new msg window open,
clicking the Accounts Btn will allow you to select the account used

If you wish to keep the accounts totally separate, then you set up one of
the accounts in a seperate outlook profile. And select 'prompt for Profile'
when starting outlook - NB outlook has to close to select the other Profile,
you cannot switch as in outlook express.

Version of Outlook?
Type of email accounts that you use?

POP3 accounts by default will always deliver to the same delivery location
(folder set with Inbox, Sent Items, Contacts, etc...). You can separate them
by applying views, rules or (in Outlook 2007) assign separate folder sets to
them.
