Switching back to SP2 from SP3

Use Add / Remove Programs to uninstall the RC of SP3. In the future,
please use the Technet forums for SP3 as this group is not for
answering questions about SP3 RC.

Please disregard the SP question. My brain wasn't working. What I need to
know is basically the same questions, but for removing IE7 and re-installing
IE6. Sorry for the turnaround.

There should be no danger ans you should not have installed SP3 Release
Candidate 1 or 2 on any machine you were not willing and able to rebuild
from scratch at a moments notice. It is pre-release software - it has not
been released in its final form and should not be installed upon production
machines without proper care being taken.

The removal should be done through the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel.

Generally the same thing as what you have been told about SP3.

Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs
After that - I have seen cases where you will need to download and install
IE6 over.

SP 3 is still in testing phases and you might have to re-install your
XP in order to remove it completely.

Thanks, all. Obviously some of you missed my second post. I had a mental
lapse and had SPacks in my mind, but really should have said IExplorer. IE7
is what I want to get rid of and go back to IE6. Was wondering if there is
anything to watch out for. Thanks again.
