Windows XP Switch User Problem

When i select switch user and i get the welcome screen and then on selecting other user all i get is a flash of screen and then it returns to the welcome screen, any ideas please?

Have fixed problem via another of my forums, the expert gave me a reg fix that cured the problem.

Copy and paste the following text in between the lines,into Notepad.
Click on File(in the menu at the top)>Save as..Save as Type: 'All Files' File name: fix.reg to your desktop.
Then double click on the fix.reg file on your desktop to merge it into the registry,then reboot.
