I have a primary work email account. I have dsl at home. I thus have two
separate outlook mail accounts - both have the same incoming POP setting
(work) but have different smtp settings. Since my default account is work,
when I am at home outlook will automatically use my work smtp settings
causing an error.

Outlook should have a "radio" button option when the program is first
launched that asks which account (if there are more than one) you would like
to set as the default for that particular session. [it could also have a
check box if you don't want this option to appear again]. Simple solution
for those of us with a laptop.
