switch on/off browsing pictures in IE

hello, how can I programatically switch on/off the browsing images and
playing sounds in IE ?
I need to change the check boxes which are at
"Tools->Internet options...->Advanced->Show pictures"

I believe this setting is stored in the registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Display Inline
Images.
