If necessary, download and install the latest Shockwave Flash from

If you are attempting to play a SWF animation from a file stored on the
hard disk, use a WEBbrowser - which will have the SWF plugin, and be
capable of displaying the animation.
I get SWF items sent to me or come across them on web
pages but when I download them a bow come up saying
something about documents and settings/temporary internet
files etc. At the bottom it says the device is not
ready for this. Can anyone tell me what to do to be able
to view these files?
