Sweeping a bunch of images into Word 2007 and resizing them

I have about 40 jpg images that are about 1M each and 1000 pixels on a
side. I was able to paste them into Word, but they, of course, do not
fit width wise nicely onto a page. Is there someway I can resize them
easily inside Word, i.e., in more or less a single stroke? Possibly
there's a way outside of Word?

If they're all really about the same size, and you want them to be the same
size, only smaller, then try sizing one of them (through the Format Picture
dialog) and then using F4 to repeat the operation with the rest.
