svchost.exe problems- ?? about W32.Welchia.Worm

Aimee

I posted a note a few wks ago. My CPU's at 100% after
install of AOL free trial disk... Found that it is a
svchost.exe process taking up all my cpu time. Did virus
scan at Housecall.antivirus.com (which someone suggested
here on this newsgroup). It didn't find anything.
Should I do the W32.Welchia worm thing??? Or should I have
my computer wiped clean and start from scratch- I really
don't have the extra money to do that but my limited
computer knowledge leaves me stuck.. I need some
suggestions...
Thanks... Aimee

.
If the svchost file is not in a folder called wins you
are probably OK with that aspect(virus), the svchost file
should be in c:\winnt\system32. Also did you uninstall AOL
software?
