svchost.exe problem in win-2000 prof

I am facing problem with svchost.exe file . when I start
my system after some time it displays message, svchost.exe
has created some problem, Do you want to debug?
After this message I could not Copy- Paste , could not
open any hyperlinked doucuments, could not open properties
for network components.

Please suggest me any confident solution for this.
