SvcHost errors after 13-Feb-07 Windows 'Upgrade'

Win XP Pro, SP2 on Dell Dimension 8300.

We have experienced mulitiple SvcHost errors after the 13-Feb-07 Windows
'Update'. One error routine led to a report that next day's Windows 'Update'
would fix errors in previous change, but I have not even been able to get the
Windows update or much of anything else to run outside of Safe Mode with
Network.

In Safe Mode with Network, I ran SysFileChecker from the Run line, don't
know yet if it helped.
Now we'll try Windows 'Update', hopefully report back with success.

You may need to Turn Windows Updates OFF and see what running in the
background by downloading the processor explorer from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/ProcessExplorer.mspx
Run a scan for malwares and Viruses on your computer and then Run Disk Clean
Up then Defrag.
