Suspension of Hyperlink check with Outlook Express possible?

Is it possible to suspend or eliminate Outlook Express from checking for
hyperlinks withing email messages?

I use O.E for newgroup reading where some of the messages need to be save in
text format. When this happens, O.E. begins looking for hyperlinks. I
would like to turn this feature off when saving such postings.

Is there a way to suspend the checking of hyperlinks?

Tips, suggestions and recommendations will be appreciated!
