Suspend Mode

My PC goes into suspend mode after a while of inactivity. When I log it back
on, I lose my DSL connection. How do I configure to just go to screensaver
after inactivity.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Power Options.
Make sure that "Turn off hard disks", "System Standby" and
Hibernate are set to Never. You can safely set "Turn off
monitor" to any of the available settings.

Use the Display applet within Control Panel to configure your
screensaver.

If you want to retain the ability of your PC to go into standby
mode and not lose your connection you might want to consider
placing a router between your computer and your modem.

Go to Control Panel>Power Options>Power Schemes>You can change the settings
for Monitor, hard disk and Standby. Under Hibernation
Uncheck the Enable Hibernation box.
