suspend mode..

My computer latitude x200 doesnt want to go into suspend mode when i close
it. have tried the normal way, trying to configure it through the power save
feature as where it is usually accessible. I have a brand new installation of
xp. Any suggestions how to get this working? Thankful for all the help I can
get.

See if you get any error messages, trying to run

Disk defragmenter (start > run > dfrg.msc) or

"Check disk" (right-click drive > Properties > tools > Check now (under
error checking) ...).
