SUS client not installing

I got my software update server going sync and all but
the client just does not what to install on WinXP with
SP1a
it give's a error stating that the client must be
installed on a Win2000Pro SP2 or WinXP computer which I
am trying to do

If you read the sus deployment notes, or even the error message, closely,
you'll see that the client is for Windows XP (no service pack) *only*.
Windows XP SP1 and Windows 2000 SP3 and higher include the client already so
there is no need to install it.
