My computer isn't working properly. I keep getting tons of Spyware and when I
use my MSAS it tells me that it has been removed, but it keeps coming back.
I tried several ideas that was listed here and nothing seems to work. I
can't download anything! I did remove SurfSideKick from my control panel and
it still keeps coming back. I NEED HELP!

Hi Sharon,

Try to run Ewido on-line, on the left colum is a big red button.
http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

NOTE: While I posting Ewido does say its a 14 day free trial but it still
works
fine after the trial has expired, All it does after the 14 days is stop the
real time protection and auto updates but I never advise that to be enabled
at setup anyway as it can interfere with other real time protection programs
plus the updates can be done manually anytime you wish so it may be usefull
to keep it incase you need to use it again in the future.

If you have problems download Ewido and Ccleaner, then scan in safe mode
(reboot and keep tapping F8 then choose safe mode from the list)

Download Ewido

http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Install Ewido.
During the installation, under "Additional Options"
uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".

Launch Ewido

It will prompt you to update click the OK button and it will go to the main
screen
On the left side of the main screen click update Click on Start and let it
update.
DO NOT run a scan yet. You will do that later in safe mode.

Download Ccleaner

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload.asp

Reboot into safe mode (Reboot and tap F8 and choose safe mode)

Open Add/Remove screen and remove SurfSideKick

Run Ewido and choose scanner then Complete System Scan During the scan it
will prompt you to clean files, click remove for each.

(When it finishes scanning it will give some options at the bottom of the
screen, choose save report and save it to your desktop)

Run MSAS on a full scan and remove anything found

Run Ccleaner and press "Run cleaner"

Then Reboot back to normal mode

Let us know if you have any problems

Thanks for the information. I finally was able to download and use what you
had suggested. It did do what it was supposed to do, just one more question
tho. The file that I saved to my desktop is still there, should I just
delete it? I am also getting a lot of pop ups, suggestion?
