surf side kick adware

i run beta 2 version of windows defender and can never remove surf side kick
adware as it returns after restarting the computer. The results of my last
scan gave an error message after attempting to remove surf side kick:
0x80508017 please help!!!!!!1

Spybot S&D should remove it. Also Xoftspy (free version) will detect it;
however, you will have to manually delete Surfside kick. Maybe this one, but
I never tried it:

In Add/Remove, Older versions may be called "TV Media"

I wouldn't get excited over *ANY* untested product that is promoted on a
"freeweb" website. This is fertile ground for rogue software.

It might be handled better with a tool such as Hijack This! and a little
